Alex will include the name, the ticker symbol, and a note explaining why a stock meets Oxford Microcap Trader’s criteria. He’ll recommend option plays as well, but only if they are available, liquid, and reasonably priced.

How often should I expect to hear from Alex?
You can expect to receive at least one email a week. This may take the form of a buy recommendation, a sell recommendation, or a portfolio update.

What is the average hold time?
The holding period will be determined by the price action of the stock. Alex will recommend holding some stocks for a matter of days, others for several weeks.

How will I know when to sell?
In Oxford Microcap Trader, Alex uses “laddered stops.” As a recommendation moves higher, so does its stop. In this service, the stops will not be set at a particular percentage but will be based on each stock’s volatility. Alex will notify readers via email if a position has hit its stop or if he recommends exiting a stock or option position for any other reason. If Alex advises exiting a stock position, you should exit the underlying option position as well.
